The Southern Apprenticeship & Training Fund was established in February 1978 through a cooperative effort of the International Union of Operating Engineers and participating employers.
This program provides apprenticeship and journeyperson upgrade training in the fields of heavy equipment operation and maintenance and safety and health throughout the southeast U.S.
